It's what my grandson River calls Tango and Jazz, my two chihuahuas.

Here's a video of him having a little couch time with them....well, as much couch time as possible, given how hugely excited they were to be playing with River, who they absolutely adore!

What a great video Ronni. River, Tango and Jazz would tire me out in no time. They have sooo much energy.

Eileen, that energy quickly dissapates! They last about 5 minutes before they're settled back down again, curled up into the tiny little balls they become, snuggled on my and Lee's lap under the blankets that they can't seem to do without. If we don't have blankets on our laps, they'll crawl under our shirts, up our sleeves, under an available cushion. Chihuahuas are burrowers by nature.

It just tickles me how much the dogs love the grandkids. They act similarly when my granddaughters come over. Lorelei and Karleigh are bigger than River though, 9 and 6, so they can interact with them a little more.

I just loved River's words. His vocabulary is taking off in leaps and bounds and it's just so much fun hearing him beginning to string words together.

Being a grandparent is SO much fun!
