By kosztakid at 2012-01-16Our visla all Gone but 1 Fat Freddy leading the pack. Then Maggie. Last one is Taz. Soon after picture pheasant flew up. Only have 1 left My Sweet Ginger of Koszta. Will be spreading Taz's ashes in favorite Hunting place.
kosz - Aren't dogs the best? We have three rescues and I wish I could afford more. When we retire (maybe I should say "if" these days) we hope to have lots more senior dogs. That's our specialty as they're much harder to find homes for and they fit in with us really well. They just want to eat sleep and be loved. ahhhh. don't we all....
Jerry use to volunteer at Animal rescue center. Only Man who helped. Got the dogs trained. Mostly the bigger type. Got them ready so smaller person could take them for walks. He use to show dogs -when we had golden. Got tropes. VERY Good Trainer. His Uncle like to see Taz hunt-Jerry just POINT.
Great picture...I have never seen a picture of them. I love the ears on the second dog.Dogs in motion...
Jerry wanted to get another Viszla puppy. I found one $3200 -little out of our price range. We only one left Ginger + our 1 year old yellow lab. I'm glad she's growing out of terrible 2 stage. Into everything. Run off with garden gloves,Etc.
I had forgotten that Miss Shadow used to grab gloves and hats and take off running with them...she still does do it with the Teddy Bear she sleeps with or my old slippers...we always set their Teddie bears on top of the kennel and she grabs it off of the top and we kind of made a game of it...and we will chase her around the table...so I don't think she will ever quit until we can't run after her. I am sure we look silly doing it but it was something we started and have fun doing it with her. Even the little dog Scooter will grab a different stuffed animal and run around with it and want us to chase him...
