There's only 10 days left to truck loading day. I sure hope we are ready. We had to go up and do a few errands today. We spent the weekend at the flea market getting rid of things. We have one more weekend up there. There is only one more trash pickup day. We still have a couple of bags for the thrift shop. There will be the computer to take down and the computer desk to deliver to the library. That will be on the last Monday, I think. I think things are going along nicely right now. Hope they will continue that way. dooley

Sounds like smooth sailing from here on out. You will be in your new home before you know it. ;)

Dooley you certainly sound as though you are well organised now. Just think in less than a fortnight you'll be living in Texas beside Glenda!!! How exciting!! :D

Organized? LOL. It just sounds that way. I start one thing and then another and somehow they all seem to get done. Except at any one time I have the counters cluttered and boxes half filled and we are walking around things. Only now it seems that there are less things to walk around. Tomorrow some more things are going. We are going to talk with a friend of Dan's about taking the freezer and a few other things. It will get done. dooley

Eight days? I'd better put my running shoes on. But, I think we might just get finished if I get myself out to the kitchen and sort those dishes still hanging out in the cupboard. I need to put the stuff on the counter in a box. That will just leave pots and pans. I bought paper plates for the duration. We're eating out for Thanksgiving. I have never in my life ate out for Thanksgiving. Our son and his wife are going to drive our moving truck so neither of us wanted to cook the day before we packed up the truck. There will be about nine of us total. Hope they are ready for us. Oops! Better get busy before the "boss" catches me loafing on the job. dooley

Yep! Another day almost gone. I have one more kitchen box. I thought two would do it but it will take three. Friday, we have to take Chance to get her up to date on shots. Monday, we have to take the truck to get it's shots updated....no, to get it's oil changed and make sure everything is in good condition. We have to visit the bank yet. The computer is coming down and going into a box on Tuesday and I'll be off line until we get moved and on line again. I don't know what I will have for an internet service. Glenda has dial-up but we'll have to see what else is available. I'm really not fond of dial-up but I don't think anyone is fond of it. Later, dooley
