Today dr and I went to several yard sales. We should have stopped with the first one because it was the best one.
I bought a waste basket about a three or four gallon size filled with all kinds of stuff for two dollars. This afternoon we emptied everything out on the table. Some very nice kitchen utensils, some tools which dr claimed but the prize was a ph analyzer which was new, still sealed in the plastic packet. It says it's for indoor/outdoor use. It doesn't need batteries. You just stick it in the ground and wait a minute or two and read the ph levels. It has an instruction book and one page tells what to use to correct the ph levels of different plants, etc. The price tag on the botton of the packet says "$18.99." So, I think I got my two dollars worth out of that basket of stuff. What do you think?

PH analyzers are expensive here too so you did really well with your waste basket of goodies Dooley. The basket alone would be worth more than the money you spent. :-D

It is a very handy thing to have. I do not check my soil pH often but when I need it, I need it!
Just like Eileen said--theý are expensive here too...so you absolutely got a good deal.

    Chapeau!
