None here! We had clouds and some wind but no rain or hail. Supposedly will be rain and wind on Sunday.

So you saw the photos of the 3 to 4 Feet of hail that hit Amarillo on Thursday. From where I live, near Dallas, that happened about a 9 hour drive west and north. The closest members we have to that area that I know of are Snow1 and WTxDaddy, who live in Lubbock about 2 hours south of there.

I am glad none of you are hit with it. I cannot imagine that kind of destructive hail  :'( Most of us probably don't know where any of you are located in relation to the weather that is going on since Texas is such a huge state. I drove from Texarcana to Zapata and I think that took 12 hours  if I remember right. It has been a few years since we were down there. It took 12 hours to get from here to Texarcana and I drove through at least 5 states to get to Texas.

Have you checked out the member map? It'll give you a good idea how far we are spread out.
and interesting to see where other members are.

Cheryl, I have never thought to do that, so who are all those people on the map? Old stewbies who haven't kept up or just quiet people who don't say as much as me?

A combination of both and includes the very active ones who have put their location on the map.
Not everyone wants to give that much information on the web though.

Holy Cow,..that's the biggest fall of hailstones i have ever seen,..big hailstones yes,..but not this heavy fall.

On the subject of knowing where members are located,..i have a 4Ft x 4Ft map of the USA and Canada on my bedroom wall,..i started putting markers of all the states i visited,(only eight),..then where members were located in order to have a better picture of where they were talking about and the difference in climate,..i still update it with members from two forums.

We had wind today, with overcast. If we get severe storms with hail, it will be tomorrow afternoon and evening. We have our fingers, toes, and eyes crossed hoping the hail misses us.
Thirty-four tornadoes reported in "tornado alley" today, but none destructive.
Toni, I think Roy will be busy with his storm tracking for tomorrow.

Last week during the outbreak of tornadoes here in north central Texas, there were 17 confirmed in the immediate area in 4 hours. All touched down and did damage to homes and other buildings but amazingly there were no serious injuries.

Yeah, I don't expect he will be home much of tomorrow.

We're only expected to get some rain and winds down here. Hope everyone in this latest storm's path stays safe.

There is a town about 3 hrs. north of me that had a lot of hail yesterday. They showed the snow plows moving it off the streets and parking lots. It was kind of a wild weather day for us.

Todays storms were a giant fizzle...less than 1/2 inch of rain.

Our "slight chance of severe storms" was a fizzle, also, thank heavens! We got some rain, about 1/2", and had a few bursts of wind, but that was it.
I wish everyone else has avoided the damaging hail, high winds, and tornadoes.
