We went back to the dealership this morning and had the car inspected. They replaced the broken tail light and did the inspection. We were in and out in no time at all. No one backed into us today. We went to the tax office and got the license plates and now our truck lives in Texas, too. Still have to get the driver's license changed. That office is only open two days a week and today wasn't one of them. Next week for that part. We got the permit to take our trash to the county landfill so that's taken care of for a year. Our list is getting smaller. Need to get an appointment with a doctor yet, too. Guess that needs done sooner than later.

dooley, glad you and dr got that part of your list accomplished. Seems like it takes a lot to become 'legal' in each state. Now to find you a doctor and Chance a vet, and maybe you will be done. And a real Texan through and through! :stew2:

That should make for a very fun spring! Have you looked into how good your soil is, whether you need to amend it at all?

I'm glad you've now got your plates Dooley. Hopefully, you'll have your licences soon too and then you (and the truck) will be true Texans!! ;)
