Mimi went for the last swim of summer. The water was down to 61 but the air was unseasonable warm, near 75. To get a swim in it in October is unusual but to get it in late October never happens. We thank you Indian summer for the last swim.

Wow, a swim this late in the year, how lucky she is. Where'd she go swimming? My boyfriend and I spend most of our summer in the water, but . . we quit when the weather started to cool.

Brrr! Looks like Mimi is part Polar Bear! My daughter would have had a swim too. When we lived on the lake in Jacksons Point, my daughter was the first in for a swim on Easter Sunday! She was only in for a short time, but she was IN! The ice had only been gone a week and there were still chunks of ice floating around her!

Our Sunday weather was superb, as well. Today was even warmer (27 degrees Celsius) although I was inside all day at school. When I finally left, it had clouded over. :( Well, I guess I stayed too long trying to get things ready for tomorrow. Tuesday promises rain and a high of only 11*C. It was neat seeing the pic of Mimi swimming with the fallen leaves in the lake. Thanks for posting it for us to enjoy!

16 deg C in the water, that's June here. We occasionally get warmer seas if July is hot. Then even I might get in.

Lovely photos, I'm glad you're still enjoying some warmth.
