All you people on garden stew are GREAT. I have asked many questions and always got plenty of replys. I have been trying for years to make some cuttings from my lilac trees take root. Never had any luck. Some people on graden stew told me to use the new growth coming up from the ground. I did what you said and after MANY years of trying they have taken root. Thank you all VERY muck you are all great people. I belong to a corvette forum and there is always someone there that has something wise to say, but here everyone is always helpful and polite. Again, thank you. :-D
Just glad we could be of help to you Richie. It's nice when someone takes the time to say thanks to our members for the advice they give. :-D
Richie...that is one of the many reason I like it here. I have done just that with Lilacs and they have always made it. I had some beautiful bushes at the last house and seems in our area the common lilacs grow the fastest...a neighbor had given me some of the shoots from hers and they grew so big..I hated to leave them..but you can't take everything or a piece of everything but I am sure it looked like I did... Glad you got your answer.. :-D
