And a Happy Thanksgiving to you too! We're headed over the mountains to visit my folks, looking forward to a small-town parade, pumpkin pie and their hot-tub. One of my very favorite holidays - hope it is a peaceful, blessed time for all of you.
Hello Primsong: We'll be sharing Thanksgiving this year. My daughter needs to go to her future inlaws. My son will be going to his girlfriends grandmothers house. Therefore we will have everyone over on Friday, but I don't mind, just gives me one extra day to prepare. Happy Thanksgiving
Happy Turkey Day to all! My son has to work from noon until 5 pm, so we will have ours about 6 pm. It rained last night off and on. I woke up about 4 am and the temp. was 52 deg F. Now at 8 am, the temps is at 36 F. Chance of snow flurries today.
May Your Stuffing Be Tasty, May Your Turkey Be Plump, May Your Potatoes 'n' Gravy Have Nary A Lump. May Your Yams Be Delicious, May Your Pies Take The Prize. May Your Thanksgiving Dinner Stay Off Of Your Thighs. Happy Thanksgiving
Song, I love that poem Hope everyone has a good day wether you celebrate Thanksgiving day or not. I have to get off of this computer and finish cooking my part of the dinner. Lisa is doing the turkey, gravy, dressing, apple pie and brownies. I am doing the sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, pumpkin pie and fudge pecan pie. I bought bread since we have yet to replace my oven and most of my family prefers the canned jellied cranberry sauce instead of my homemade chunky variety so I bought cans of that too. I just noticed that we have only one green vegie planned....hmmmmm, oh well, the starches are more fun to eat than the greens anyway.
