Yep the normal price of the flower pot was £35 Euro or $49.8469,..but it was reduced to £27 Euro or $38.4533,..now that i look at it i wonder was i intoxicated in the garden center by some flower or herb?,..this flower pot is just short of three foot high,..and my idea was to have a flower planted in it that is heavily scented,..so it would be closer to my nose than the ground,..so i have planted Erysimum linifolium,'Variegatum' which is heavily scented,..i grew this from a cutting starting off in April and have a second one coming along.

beautiful pot - I've never had any that tall in my gardens. I would be afraid of it tipping over on my unlevel lawn.

What a bargain Philip!! Pots like that can cost waaay over £50 here and that's considered a good price. I love the colour against the greenery. If it were mine I think I'd plant it just the way you have.

It looks so stately your garden. A very nice addition indeed. And yes....like Carolyn said... no painting! :-D
    Nice purchase.

I really love the flower pot and the flowers. It must be really nice to be able to smell the flowers without bending down. I'm not sure where I would put a pot that size. Maybe at the corner of the deck so I could also smell the lovely flowers while sitting down.

    Oh Boy!!!,
Carolyn and Cheryl you certainly hit the nail on the head,..i WAS looking at the green spray paint,.. ,..but both of you,.. along with Eileen,Deanna,Calvinjane, and Dooley all said they liked the pot so i will put away the green paint for another day,..i have gone out to smell the Wallflower,Erysimum linifolium,'Variegatum',..several times,..its just a tad different from the usual wallflower,..very sweet,..and its still in its infancy.

Lovely pot, Philip--you can add my vote to leave the colour what it is. That colour will fuit well with the overall colour of your garden, I think.

It really is a nice-looking pot.

Oh, that is a gorgeous pot and a great bargain. I have seen one similar in size at a garden center here that was selling for $125 U.S/about 87 Euro.

And the color is perfect so leave the paint in the shed. ;)

I always buy the wrong things, put things in the wrong place, get in the wrong line at the store or the bank.
But I've gotten accustomed to me screwing up. :D
Most things can be changed or rearranged or forgotten or forgiven.
Glad you're satisfied with your purchase... it is a beauty!
