This year is the biggest my Bleeding Heart has ever gotten and the most bloom too! I have had it about 25 years and it just keeps getting bigger every year. 4 ft. wide and 3 ft. tall.

BEAUTIFUL!! Has it ever re-seeded? I have, or should say "had" 3 big beauties next to the garage, 2 pinks and a white. They are only about 9 years old but the 2 on the west end are getting smaller and smaller. Evidently when I was cleaning the bed I must have ripped up roots or something :(

This one has never reseeded. It just comes back every year. I was worried this year as we had some really heavy frosts after it came up. But evidently it was protected enough where it sets.

I wish my two bleeding hearts looked that good. They're still alive but are nothing like the size of yours.

Capt. your bleeding heart is beautiful. Last Tuesday I went to my local farmer's market/flea market. A lady was selling potted plants. I bought a pink and a white bleeding heart. She sold them for $2.00 each. I hope they do as well as yours.

    The pink.

Wow it's gorgeous. And that's all new growth? wow.
I've only seen them around here in containers.
