I don't think its ever been painted since it was built, the light posts have not worked for the past 10 years at least, and the lame attempt to replace it has dragged on for 20 years. I remember the first time, as a youngster,going to visit relatives and being on the Calcasieu Bridge... I thought we'd NEVER get to the other side! I love the looks of your boss's homes. I'd love to live on the coast and be able to have all those tropical plants... EXCEPT during Hurricane season.
I forgot to tell you, but... This house was inundated twice. Once for Rita, and another when Ike came by. 3 ft. of water inside. Talk about a mess that was.
