    Took this little duck today, a The Bufflehead Bucephala albeola. A neat bird, but black and white are the hardest colours to photograph.

    Wonderful picture! We have Hooded Mergansers on our pond (15 yesterday) and at first I thought they were Buffleheads because the Mergansers have a white spot on the side of their head.
    Sure wish I had your bird knowledge and photographic ability!
