I know some folks eat this stuff, but I grow it for the gorgeous blooms. This one opened late last week. Cardoon Bloom from last week ( photo / image / picture from toni's Garden ) This one bloomed fully overnight. It is too tall for me to look down on it for the picture so I had to hold the camera over it and hope for the best. I think this one is stunning with a little sunlight highlighting the middle. I grow them on the allotment, but like you Toni, for the flowers rather than the edible stems. Gorgeous.
