Dr and I decided to help the animal shelter they are trying to start here in our town. We went to the police station and talked to the animal control person. She gave us a list of things they could use. At the top, of course, is food. So, we went and bought a 50 pound bag of dry dog food. We took a small dog house that we had on the deck. Chance didn't like it. I think because it was too closed in. She liked being out where she can see things. Every month we will take something off the list to help them. It will be a donation in memory of Chance. We took them a short write up about Chance and her picture. It will make us feel good, too. dooley
What a lovely thing to do in memory of Chance Dooley. The animal shelters need all the help they can get and you know that your donations are helping all the animals in their care. I always said you had a heart of gold and now I know it's 24 carat!!
Chance seemed to always have a smile on her face. She was a loyal friend to you two.I know you will really miss her sooooooooooo much. God bless ya'll.
That was a very nice thing to do. Those kind of things sure do make us feel better. It's good for our hearts.
