:-D I found this ladybird chasing a jumping spider around on some Spiderwort in my garden last summer...It seemed to be for food. Ladybirds are voracious predators in the insect world.

    Hey!!..I'm over here!

 here she comes!.... (the ladybird is just out of the frame at the upper left)

The spider climbs up and over.......

then the ladybird follows...."Now where'd he go?"....

The Jumping Spider comes back out on the plant below the Ladybird as to say..."HEY!! I'm down here!!

....then the spider jumped onto the leg of my tripod and then onto another plant far away from the ladybird....

    Thanks for looking!!

Wonderful photos with an artistic flare! Your captions added a lot too.

You certainly have an eye for unusual and lovely photos! I'm glad the story had a happy ending (at least for the spider).

Yes those are some great photo's. The Lady bug will have to look for a slower meal. I can just hear the spider saying, Nah,nah,nah,nah,nah-you missed me. :stew1:

Great photographs. I have to admit that I was rather glad that spider managed to get away though. I'm sure the ladybird won't go hungry.
