You know what it needs of course ? :-? That's right - An Anglo-Zulu War 1879 Theme Garden ! Maybe I should apply :-D C.J.
WOW Look at the site the BBC has up for the Chelsea Flower Show. http://www.bbc.co.uk/gardening/flower_s ... ndex.shtml Click on any of the links for any of the showcase gardens and you will be presented with a 360 degree panoramic view with audio commentary. BBC do it again!
Anyone notice the show garden with what looks like a couple of glass chessboards ? :-D (without the chess pieces) They look just like the glass chessboard I have in the house. (with glass chess pieces to match) C.J.
I wonder did anyone see all the programmes? Friday evenings show was amazing for two reasons . Alan Titchmarsh interviewed someone who has been gardening for five years and grows all his own vegetables on his allotment . He has a great knowledge of growing , composts ,weed and pest control , he controls his slug problem with ground oatmeal ,he did a small presentation on the Chelsea Show for Alan which was excellent , so what was amazing ? he is only 9 years old and started gardening when he was 4. The second interview was a bright vivacious glamourous woman who was as bright as a buttom , she was a real laugh . Why was she amazing ? Shes 100 years young. 8) Bugs
Sorry I missed those shows, they sounded like a laugh. A 9-year old gardening expert and a 100-year old gardener Just goes to show that it spans all ages! Very interesting, I haven't heard that one before. Any specifics Bugs?
