Here is a very interesting article about the global CO2 problem. And a possible solution. Basically, the idea is to cool the planet down. By extracting carbon dioxide from the air. On a massive industrial scale, (by the year 2050). https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20210310-the-trillion-dollar-plan-to-capture-co2 All this extra CO2 captured from the atmosphere can be pumped into large greenhouses - Where it will speed up the growth of vegetables and fruits of all type. Anyway I found this very interesting - So am sharing it with everyone over here.
A very interesting read...When we lived In the UK, right by the coast, being on a flight path, often we could see the planes dropping there spare fuel out and down of course, a horrific site....tip of the iceberg of course.. Thanks for posting, should get people thinking ....acting is a whole can of worms...
We all only have just one single planet to share. Therefore taking care of the environment should be everyone's top priority. But unfortunately, there still are many who say that climate change is a hoax... While others who want to do something about it - Either don't know how, or are too lazy.
Lots of little things you can do to start with....obvious articles of harm......plastics..Our shops here In France need to go a lot further than they are. They have changed the plastic bags used for self service fruit and veggies to a type that breaks down fast.. They do offer paper bags if you want. They are not allowed to waste any food at all. It has to go to the needy in one form or another. Lots of goods still in hard to recycle black plastics.... We do have dedicated waste areas, wood, concrete building waste, with glass and stones and a huge garden waste area one side and half a dozen skips with cardboard, plastics, polystyrene, glass bottle and tins.. seems very efficient a place for all batteries, waste oil, cooking oil and electrical goods but 'the black bin skip' will hold too much that could be recycled if people cannot be bothered to separate the bad from the very bad, that needs some attention...When we buy white goods,we pay an extra tax that entitles us to take the white goods to the tip, without extra expense when it has reached the end of its life.. ... I will make more effort and see what I can achieve. Posts like yours can only help bring up the issues the world is not just facing but is in very deep now..The Oceans, breaks your heart, having read quite a lot lately but what can we do about them as individuals..The Mediterranean is not what it should be anymore either...,,,,,
