Yesterday we were enjoying an unusually warm day, it reached 77°F, although the wind was pretty strong. Later in the evening, a thunder storm rolled through dropping a little (not enough) rain.
Today at noon, it is 30°F still windy. Brrr!
The wind and rain stripped most of the remaining leaves off the trees. Sure looks wintery all the sudden.

This time of year here in Florida this can be common.

Quite often the plants dont know if they are coming or going.

Well, that was a quick and dramatic change. I like for the seasons to change slowly...especially from fall into winter, because I quite like autumnal colours of the trees.

Are you all-prepared for the winter?

Sjoerd, We are as ready as we'll ever be. We spent hours raking leaves and put a winterizer fertilizer down on the turf. Hearing that there was rain in the forecast to water it in.
I have all my containers put indoors, and cleaned up.
The jackets, gloves and hats are out again.
At work, I think I have about 3 more big jobs to complete before I go into dormancy. :stew2:
