Our temperatures are dropping fast but, thankfully, no frost yet.

We've had 4 or 5 frosts already. Have I mentioned lately how much I hate fall?

I really dislike the shortening days. Have been wearing my SAD sun visor in the mornings at work. With no windows and inside all day it's hard to get enough vitamin D. One of my cherubs asked me why I was wearing the visor this AM. Told him so I wouldn't get grumpy. He seemed to think it was maybe a good idea.

Already starting to go to work in the dark and coming home in the dark. Bummer.

    Rain, no frost yet.

Oh wow, it's MY favorite time of the year!

    Can I ask why?

I like fall and I like winter, as long as I don't have to go out in it! But setting in the living room next to the wood burner and watching it snow is great!

*shudder* While I love the sights and colors and smells of fall and winter, I HATE being cold. And when its cold outside, no matter many layers Im wearing, Im still cold! Ugh!
Every winter Ill be sitting at my computer (for example) wearing fleece pjs, fuzzy socks, slippers, a robe, a blanket and a hat and sometimes gloves and Im still shivering O_O

We are having a beautiful fall. Temps in the 20 degree Celsius range in the day and around 7 to 8 at night. Very unusual as we have had no frost as yet. I hope the warm weather hangs around for awhile yet. Ordered a new picture window this afternoon and it takes 3 weeks for them to make it. Don't like fall because winter is too close behind it. Nothing like the spring when all nature comes alive. Now I find that beautiful!

Bip, young women of child bearing age who get cold easily are usually anemic according to medical articles I have read in the past. Cheer up, somewhere around 40-ish, you will start menopause and all of those nasty hot flashes will cure you of that... I prefer to be COLD. I love fall and winter and suggling up in warm things. You can always bundle up when you are chilly or cold. You can only take off so much clothing in public and still be dressed. Most places discourage public indecency. [I hope they still do!]

We have not yet had frost, but I still have some tropicals to find winter homes for, and things to bring in before it frosts/freezes here.

So far no frost here in Iowa. Late for us-but they said that means more snow. Hope they are wrong
