    Hi, all.

I'm a landscape designer from Wisconsin. The longer I'm in this line of work, the more I like it. I hope to be of help here, but may have a question or two about specific plants or whatnot.

Always looking for new ideas. :)

Oh, my own front yard has a deep mixed border for all of the bits that I and my husband collect and save -- this is quite a bit of fun.

If and when we get time to finish the back, we'll have a Japanese garden. ... some day.

Oh, and can someone tell me if I can add my website in my profile (informative business website) and can I link to an article of mine if it addresses an issue or question?

I don't want to step on any toes. :)

    Hi!

Thanks for the additional info, Frank. I've got a few articles on my site -- had a lot of fun writing and attaching bunches of pictures. It helps if I can add a link to something I've written.

Wow. Sweden, Texas... amazing technology. :) Thanks for the welcomes.

Welcome Creative 1 from the North Woods of Wisconsin. If you spend any time here, you'll find this a friendly interesting and informative place to visit. Where in Wisconsin, are you living? I'm from the far north, Land O' Lakes, we also have a home in Mequon. We are living in Land O' Lakes most of the time, summer and winter.

I'm from the Eau Claire area -- just south of the great North Woods is how I think of it. Anything North of Rice Lake is just acres of trees. :)

Up here, we get an absolute craving for blooms during our growing season. I'll see what I can do about some pics -- we're just finishing up a couple of beautiful gardens.

Hello to another Cheesehead! I grew up in Eau Claire, but now live in a small town between Madison and Milwaukee. Are you originally from E.C. or a transplant?

:D Born in Eau Claire. Grew up in southern Wisconsin (Racine County) until we moved back to Chippewa Falls when I was 7. That's where I grew up.

A small town near Madison/ Milwaukee -- I get memories flying whenever I'm down there to visit. My favorite is seeing the lilies growing in the ditches and the trees reaching over the roads to form tunnels.

Usually once a year we take a vacation out of state -- it's always good to be back home again. A John Denver song springs to mind. :)
