Nice videos. He reminds me a little of how I garden, although he might get better use of his land. I also mix together annual and perennial and tree crops. I don't grow a lot of winter crops although there is Russian kale (which I don't like LOL), a lot of stuff that overwinters, and crops that keep a long time (squash, pumpkin, apples, onions) and stuff that I canned or froze.

Prices are rising quickly. I think, the more we can use year-round from our gardens, the better off we are! Plus it's fun and tasty and nutritious :)

I like this video. He would be a fun neighbor!
Two years ago I pollinated a red flesh apple (Redlove Calypso) with pollen from a columnar apple (Golden Sentinel). I saved the seeds and grew them this year. I don't know what they will be like. Two have reddish leaves and might have columnar habit, too early to say. The other one is more vigorous, green leaves with red petioles.

@Daniel W thanks, you might have to wait a long time for your trees to fruit if at all.
He hasn't done any more videos, so might have to wait till the next growing season.

I grow a lot of fruit instead of veg, the ground isn't good for veg and I haven't got room for raised beds. Also I grow a lot of flowers for the pollinators.
