The dark grey clouds are shooting by the window at a rate of knots, the rain is coming down— all-in-all, a day to stay indoors. We are having a code orange in our area.

Well chaps, only one thing for it— time to make some appelflappen to enjoy with the tea. To do this we would have to use our last Moonlight apple. A sad day in that respect.

    Four sheets of filo dough
One half Moonlight chopped fine and mixed with cinnamon, sugar and a dash of flour
The two sheets clamped together with fork tines.
Egg smeared over the tops and a bit more sugar sprinkled

…and into the oven they went for +/- 15 mins.
    Voilà !

We went for the cushion again in stead of triangles. Shameless, I know; but I blame it on the weather.

The weather is so mean, so we devised this OTT compensation.
    Wish you were here.
