I was gone so long that now I am paying for it.It is shaping up to where it looks like my yard should look but Shanna has helped me.She has been weed eating while mowed with my pony.I got my tire aired up on my pony and away I went after Kevin went for gas.I still have half of my back yard and have to go buy are take my big weedeater to get fixed as my little one broke today. I have to say, Glenda--that yard of yours looks very nice and those plants are really showing off. Boy, would I like to sniff that Gardenia. Your plums are quite a bit larger than mine, but I am hoping that all this rain that we are getting will get them going.
My plums are teeny, tiny, little things compared to yours Glenda but I'm hoping for a good crop this year. Hopefully the birds/insects won't get to them first!! I like the combination of the Glad and the purple Wandering Jew. It's going to look even better when the flowers on the glad open up. Don't you just hate it when tools break before the job is done?
Your plants are SO interesting and varied. You have so many different things! I have to tell you, I feel overwhelmed just thinking about how busy you must have been since you got home. Mexican hats are too cute! The green color of the plums -- isn't that pretty. I am having weed whacker problems myself... machines drive me crazy... but at least my lawn mower started this year! I love your yard, no matter how overgrown you claim it is. Our plums are just small commas yet, but we're hoping for a nice crop this year. Your gardenia and everything else looks healthy.
Sjoerd you can smell my gardenia all over my yard.I haven't took a picture of my Datura's yet and they are blooming but I was to tired to go back out after my bath.I never get to pick the plums as the birds and insects get them and the kids.My plums are down the lane past the mimosa tree.I took one mexican hat plant from a dirt road ditch and I enjoy it for a long time during spring and summer.The wondering jew is such a forgiving plant know matter how its treated it comes back.
beautiful pics glendann! our plum tree is just starting the put leaves on! that's how far behind we are up here. the Jonquils just came out two days ago! i love the smell of Gardenias too. so pretty.
