Look what I found blooming today:

Yep, a Galanthus elwesii, the Turkish snowdrop. :D The hellebore was first, with this one close behind. I could nearly start to believe in spring, but won't just yet.

It has begun :) Hope Mother Nature doesn't read the Stew as she may hold off spring due to our presumptiousness (is that even a word? :)).

That is a proud-looking thing. You really are out-doing yourself today aren't you?
Who wouldn't be excited and feel like spring was coming with those two displays.
    Congratulations, Miss D.

Wow! You are so lucky Droopy! When do those Turkish Snowdrops usually bloom for you? It seems early, but then I have tons of snow on my gardens.

Thank you, people! :D Netty, we ought to have lots of snow on the ground too, and should not see snow drops until late February/early March. I planted these bulbs last spring, so I don't know if this will be the norm for them, or if it's just caused by the mild winter.

I have snowdrops in bud here in Scotland. Pity they're all covered in snow at the moment though. :( Good to see you have them in flower Droopy.
