    The photo props that I mentioned a while ago are working nicely. Took this image of a northern flicker today.

    It was certainly a great idea to put those props up. I hope many more species land on them so that we get to share them through your photography. :-D

    Other than setting up the props Kildale is there any other tricks you use to coax them into that spot?

    Well Frank, now I'm giving my secrets away. Different birds like different stuff and jays like peanuts in the shell. For them I hide some among the greenery of a Christmas decoration, the jays come looking for them and I take the pictures.

    I like that too. We don't have Scrub Jays in my neck of the woods but I think they are beautiful. We do have the Blue Jay. It's beautiful and very strong willed. I have raised them and they are brats for sure.
