Someone slap or kick me if I ever mention of doing something like this again. The spring chicken is now a cooked goose.

    Too tired to plant.

Bald Cypress with trash. That piece of trash has been laying there over a year and I have no idea why I haven't removed it.

I bet you sleep well with all that work!
I kept going back and looking at the A. lopantha 'quadricolor'. What a stunning plant.
That last photo sort of reminded me of a Century Plant.
Have you used Soap Aloes in any of your projects?

The last one is a century plant. I just don't remember what named cultivar it is. There are no 'common' century plants used here, like Agave americana. They are all named cultivars. Agave 'quadricolor' is available from YuccaDo nursery.

Aloe saponaria (syn. maculata) is a soap aloe. I have about 200 of these and about 50 planted at Tabula. These are hardy down here and make great landscape plants. You can barely seem them here in this photo.

I just knew you'd have some of the Soap Aloes. I have some and just love it when they flower.... and so do the Hummingbirds. But mine have only been blooming in the late summer early fall. I've noticed others along my commute to work already blooming.
    Different species/varieties?
