    Just looking around the garden yesterday to see what has popped up.

    Several of the "Hemerocallis",'Daylily,'Little Grapette' have popped up.

    "Foeniculum vulgare",'Purpureum'-Purple Fennel.

    with the very strange weather we could still have a big change before the end of March,..just now its a start to a sunny morning,..and thankfully no rain,..sorry to hear you still have snow.

    Beautiful! such a treat and tease. Today it is cccccold and snowing and blowing, 2-4 inches of snow expected...not thinking much will want to be popping up right now for me to appreciate. So thanks for letting us in your garden.

    Yep... looks like spring has arrived at Philip's place. I hope all your plants still have their winter coats handy... just in case!

    Yes, a big tease! We were getting spoiled with all our good weather, now we're under a COLD front! 19 degrees when we got up this morning and only in the 20's right now. I just can't do cold!

    Your garden is rubbing the sleep out of its eyes. My daylilies and roses are starting to wake up too. I hope you post some more pics when they all bloom.

    Hi folks,
    delighted you are all,.. thinking spring,..as i am of course,..however,..the 1st of February is the traditional start to spring here in Ireland and as you can see every plant gives that indication,..but the Meteorologists say our spring does not start until the 21st of March,..you might think they have it wrong from the signs,..but between now and the 21st of March it is pretty common to suddenly have a fall back to winter days with frost and snow,..so knock on wood i don't see all my new plant shoots being killed back.

    Our crocus have poked their heads above the ground and tonight the temperatures are expected to be 12°F/-11.1°C. :-( If only there was a way to push their little heads back down into the ground. :)

    lets hope the weather report isn't accurate and you have milder weather soon,..your temperatures are really down at present 12°F/-11.1°C,..that is cold.

    Snow here too. At least I don't worry about plants waking up only to fall back asleep :)
