The Puff Ball Found In My Yard Last Summer

    I finally found my photo of my puff ball we found last Summer. It was growing in our up yard all alone. It stuck out like a sore thumb.

    Isn't it amazing just how big Puff Balls can grow to? So glad you found your photograph Barb so that we could see it.

    Looks like it might be Calvatia cyathiformis, maybe, kinda, if it is, that is one big puffball. :)

    They grow here too. Once discovered, there isn't even enough time to snap a photo ... people LOVE to eat them!
