I'm totally in love with this vine. :smt055

    Here's how the buds look.

When they first open, they are white & pale pink.

Then in a few hours, they turn solid pink.

And within a few more hours they are even a darker pink.

And by the end of the day, they are a deep red.

Side note: The first and last photo isn't the same set of blooms as the others, but photos I had taken previously. I just couldn't get a good photo of the dark red since it had gotten a little too dark when I remember to go get it's photo.

I can see why you love it, that's like a kaleidoscope without having to point it towards light and turn it.

    Using Vines

I've only grown this plant once, in Tampa. It was one of those plants that are love at first sight.

A very beautiful plant. But being a vine, we all know the problems associated with growing vines.

I have not seen it available here.

What an intriguing vine with it's changing colours. I would love to have one climbing all over my garden arch.

Thanks everyone! I guess the true test of my love is to see how it comes back next year.

It is so pretty I had to look it up to see if it would live in my zone. It doesn't so I guess I'll just have to admire yours.
