    Must be the one on the left is the female. She is looking disgusted while the male mouths off ;) .

    Hmmmm...... Obviously the male(left) is being scolded by the female for not getting to the quahog it dropped on the rocks before others arrived to enjoy the feast. The male is only tolerating the beak lashing because his buddies are nowhere to be seen. He is however contemplating flying off to follow a deep sea fishing boat that has just arrived. They may throw the unwanted fish overboard. If he gets a nice fish he can quite the female and finally get some peace. :)

    Methinks the Female is on the right,..in the midst of giving an ear bashing to the poor quiet male who took her to the beach where the tide was ebbed so no rich picking of Ragworms lol.

    There seems to be a male/female dichotomy here, and I'm not referring to the birds!
