The sun deck plants.

I should say the sun deck plants and Pileated Woodpeckers as there are three of them here.

It looks like you 'bribed' them with food. I have seen one pileated woodpecker and you have three, I'm jealous. Do they come around often?

How cool is that to have 3 woodpeckers posing at the same time?

You've certainly given them a safe place to "hang out".

 

Three in one shot,..well captured,..its hard enough to see one to photograph.

 

The female comes most days through the spring and then brings one yougster usually. She has brought the young ones for the past three years and she is quite used to me. She stays just a few feet away while I put her food out. One of the yougsters this year let me get withing 3 feet of it. This is the female looking for me in the window.
