    It looks like you 'bribed' them with food. I have seen one pileated woodpecker and you have three, I'm jealous. Do they come around often?

    The female comes most days through the spring and then brings one yougster usually. She has brought the young ones for the past three years and she is quite used to me. She stays just a few feet away while I put her food out. One of the yougsters this year let me get withing 3 feet of it. This is the female looking for me in the window.
