There is a Fungus Among Us!

I was inspired by Kildale's post and decided to post some pics of some fungi that I found the other day.

Why was the Mushroom at the party? Apparently he was a Fungi.

I'm thinking the bottom two pics are Oyster Mushrooms (Pleurotus ostreatus)?

 

These really are the most amazing pictures of Oyster Mushrooms that I have ever seen! Without question, the best photos ever!

 

Interesting fungi picture. After a rainstorm the ground is alive with many different fungi. Now, before I kick them over, I will take a picture.

Nice foto, FF-- They are most curious to see growing on that tree trunk.

 

I wish something like this would grow where I am, it doesn't, but I wish it did. As than I'd have made a Time-lapse cinematographic clip of it's growth - And would have uploaded it on my YouTube account!
