This is a picture of our oldest son Tom, our granddaughter, Erin and our grandson Fintin at Tom's graduation this afternoon at UCDavis in California. He's worked part time for many years to get his PhD degree in agricultural and enviornmental chemistry. It even sounds difficult.

We are so proud of him and Dan and Andrew, too.

Many congratulations Tom - we're all proud of you!! All that hard work has certainly paid off. Doesn't Erin look the double of her dad?

That's wonderful! Of all the fields he could have chosen, Tom picked one that will be of great benefit to a great many people. Well done!
Of course, he came from good genetic stock, didn't he?

Congratulations Tom on a great achievement!!!

Is Fintin the grandson who was born before you left Arizona? He should be still a baby, not that grown up...time sure flies.

Yes, that's him! He'll be five in August. He loves to read and we just sent him another package of books, including a cookbook for kids. His dad will appreciate that. Fintin could very well be another doctor in the family in the future.
