We were gone for three days and had a great time at the BnB for an early anniversary celebration.
Then we were home and I was online this morning starting an entry to say thanks for all the congrats on our 27 years of martrimonial bli...yeah, bliss :-D
Then the electrical company decided that our neighborhood didn't really need all this electricity, I guess they felt we were wasting it on silly things like laundry, keeping food cold and computers so they shut us down for almost 8 hours. No explanation, they are the only 'game' in town why should they have to explain what is going on and no idea of when the power would be back on either.

Amanda and I took Rambo for a ride and a roam thru a couple of pet supply stores where they allow dogs and cats to come in, then to a coffee shop to sit outside with cold drinks. Got home and I was just beginning to light kerosene lamps when the power came back on.

GardenStew withdrawal symptoms is not a fun thing to go thru. I am so traumatized by the lack of electricity and NO STEW for 8 hours that I am just in no mental shape to cook supper tonight, we will have to go out :-D :-D

When we get back, I will get the blog entry done with pictures of the neat garden junque I picked up over the weekend.

Such horror!!! I would've headed directly to the public library for some online time! Probably should anyways, since they have DSL *grumblegrumble*

8 hours without the Stew, ouch! Sometimes it's nice when the power goes out however as it allows for a time of reflection. But when the power comes back on that thought all goes out the window *runs to laptop* :D

The coffee shop we went to has free Wi-Fi connection and 4 laptops available for customers to use but could I remember my username and password so I could log onto the Stew and stay in touch???? Nooooooo, logging on is automatic so my brain has used those rememory cells for something else. :'( But I will be writing the info down to put in my purse for future need.

I got onto GardenStew but could only sit there frantically moving the mouse around, hoping someone would see it and realize it was me....couldn't holler since there were several other people there. Very frustrating to be so close and yet so far away.

I heard a little screaming hollerng voice when I was online earlier, I wonder what that was? I think it was saying something like "I want to post" or something. I just sort of shrugged it off :)

I get VERY crabby when the computer is down too! And lately we have been such a chatty group that it's hard to catch up on all the posts!
Glad you had a good time at the B&B. Can't wait to see your pictures!

Get your password tattooed onto the inside of your eyelids.
