There's something wrong here--I get up at 5:15 a.m. When I went out to the chicken coop this morning at 7:15, I had to roust the chickens off their roost. They were sleeping in. My bed isn't made at 8:15 because the cat isn't up yet. She's curled up at the foot of the bed after appropriating most of the light blanket, and it doesn't look like she has any intention of getting up soon. Why is it that "the person in charge" is up and at it hours before any of the other critters? Something is wrong here . . . .
sound like our house. Had to fight for my part of bed.Woke up Me and DH hanging on side of king size bed. Ginger spread out in middle
Ummmm, let's see. You are up at 5:15...the chickens get to sleep 2 hours later than you and the cat sleeps 3 hours later than you. Ummmm, and you think you are in charge. Looks to me like the critters have a good thing going by letting you think you are the person in charge.
Personally, I would go back to bed and sleep in too. My chickens might be up at sunrise, but I am NOT. I will let them out and feed them when I get there. My one dog Sasha--a Great Dane--hogs my bed a LOT. She has chased my cats out of the bed. Trying to chase her out of the bed when I am asleep doesn't work. I don't get up in the wee hours without a dire emergency.
Sounds like everyone but you is sleeping in....it's Fall and that's one of the Fall things I love best, being able to stay in bed a little longer.
Sounds like our house...I'll step over a sleeping dog unlike my husband and I'll also leave the bed unmade until my older boy,Buddy, deigns to join us downstairs.
Sounds like all of us have pets that rule the house.I went upstairs to her the TV other afternoon.Cat,2 dogs and DH taking late afternoon naps-all snoring
