No Robins, Red Wing Blackbirds, Red Headed Woodpeckers. The Hummers are still here and the rest of our birds stay year around. Have a safe trip! :)

I wouldn't be surprised if all the birds left here today. It is only 11°C (54°F), raining and windy. It feels like the end of October out there! I do hope my tomatoes still ripen!

It's always sad when our feathered friends leave us for another year isn't it? Let's hope the weather is good for their migration.

We still have some robins and the red winged blackbirds are still here. I have been waiting for the short time when all of the black birds disappear from the feeders for a month but it looks like that is not happening yet. We are going through so much bird seed and the Orioles are still eating the jelly/jam like crazy. I just bought 6 more jars of it for them. I am in Wisconsin . I have the hummingbirds for at least another month and a half if they stick to schedule.

I have had 3 or 4 robins in the yard the past couple of days. I think we are a rest stop on their flyway. Since our yard is still nice and green and there are worms in there, they can get an easy meal and rest up some too.
