Got an invitation to my 50 th class reunion for next month! I think maybe they miscounted or something. I could beleive maybe the 25th, but not 50 years. Maybe they failed math class?

Reunion committees always invite younger people to help get the geezers up and running. You are there as a helper!

They probably failed math class, but I think you should go anyway. Nobody wants to miss out on a party, eh?

Captain, partying with older people gives you a perspective on what you can expect 25 years from now. No teeth, walkers, and replacement parts, AARP, Social Security, Medicare not to mention all the medications they are on. Get some cake and put it under your pillow you will dream of how you will be 25 years from now........or is that a different party......I seem to remember something like that...... ;-)

My class has had a reunion every 5 years religeously. I have gone to everyone since the 20th, before that I was never here for them. For the last one I was on the planning committee and they wanted to know if we had any ideas on where to hold the 50th. I suggested Ingram Funeral Home, because everyone would be there sooner or later! I wasn't invited to be on the committee this time! :)

Capt, a few years ago my youngest son told me they had been to his 25th high school reunion. I told him there was no way he could have been out of high school for 25 years. But, he graduated in 1980 from high school so I guess it's been a few years now. I know he was just 16 when he graduated but still the years add up pretty fast.
I hope you go to the party and it's not at the funeral home. That would be pretty depressing.

My eldest lad was 40 on the 1st June. I'm sure I've miscalculated somewhere as I'm not old enough to have a son that age am I!!!??? :-?

Thoroughly enjoy the reunion and tell them you're looking forward to the 100th. :D

I thought your funeral home comment was hysterical! I would have invited you back, but then that;'s probably why I'm never invited LOL
