Donna S, Get closer to the Wisteria please, before snapping the next picture ???? Oh how envious (waretrop, Barb in Pa) is..... Barb in Pa.
Gosh your garden must be full of the most wonderful scents. Both your roses and your wisteria are really lovely.
I agree with Waretrop, get a closer pic of the wisteria please. I wish I could smell them both. How pretty the roses are! Nice!
Hi Donna, your roses look very healthy so you must be doing good for them. I use Rose and Plant Granules twice per year,..spring and after the first flush of blooms fade. I also use Miracle-Gro on the roses and everything else,..about every two weeks. All my tea bags are dried and then sprinkled throughout the garden where there are plants and also at the base of rose bushes,..but not tea bags that were used where milk was added. Granules. Thank you Philip. I've been using a little bone meal, worm castings and a mineral fertilizer when I transplant. Also I've been feeding with compost tea every couple of weeks. Seems to be working.
As i mentioned,..your roses do look healthy,..and you are on the right track fertilizer wise,..roses do love fertilizer,..my dad always said manure,..and he always had a barrel of Cow Dung in a barrel he used to mix it with straw and peat moss.
