I thought of things that I probly would never have known if I had not joined the stew. 1. That other people would like my poems. 2. That in early times Scottish people peed in public. 3. What a snotgurgle was. I have others but will let yall post yours first. Have fun
Reggae I can't believe this! I was thinking of starting the exact same topic just a few days ago, same title and everything. Ok stop stealing my thought patterns *put tin foil hat back on* The number of things I have learned on the Stew are many and varied. Here are a few to start: - That I was a gnome at heart. - How amazingly talented people are. - That talking about the weather is addictive. - How close an online community can be (Dooley making the quilt for Julie springs to mind) - My new enemy is the Snotgurgle. DR saved my gnomish life. Lots more to come! Thanks for starting this topic Reggae 8)
OMG Frank I an starting to worry that you may need professinal help or you are doomed to a life of enjoying your insanity like I do and probably enjoying others insanity as well. LOL
Things I learned on the Stew: 1. That my husband is truly insane. 2. That he shares this insanity with a Swedish gnome. 3. That there is really a great bunch of people left in the world and they are all here on the Stew.
1) Our shared interest in gardening allows us to find our other common interests and also find out we are much more alike than we are different. 2)That this cyberplace, the stew, allows us to accept and enjoy each other when we would never get the chance without it. 3) That no matter where we came from or who we are, we are here now and care about each other. 4) That others are as insane, however I would never stray from the path of sanity.
Things I learned on the Stew 1. There are still a lot of good folks left in this world. 2.A bunch of them live in Texas. Sometime I have to write about Linda Sue from Fort Worth. 3. As I suspected years ago when I worked in a psychiatric hospital, it is only considered insanity when it interferes with your normal lifestyle. Since I have no normal lifestyle, everything is gonna be all right-gonna be all right-be all right-all right----
1.I have learned just because you sound insane may not mean you are. 2.That at least 4 of those good people live in Arizona. 3.That beauty comes with hypertufa. 4.If not for Stew I would be very lonely.
Gee bethie there is something else I learned you are weird, wonder how you fit in with all of the beacons of normalcy on the stew?
More things I've learned: - Members will compete to build me a Gnome Home - I REALLY hate spammers - I REALLY love the Internet - Badgers supposedly hate gnomes
I've learned to go to each persons blog on here as I have missed lots. I have learn how many more nice people live all over the world. I've learned to love one little Swedish gnome muchly.
Ah shucks Likewise. But I prefer Irish Gnome Unless of course you were refering to another gnome, in which case... *tip toes embarrassed out of room*
No its this little gnome .You are Irish I forgot. I've learn so much about gardening I never thought I would.
I've learned: That Snotgurgles are a Gnomes worst enemy. That I know very little about gardening in the higher zones - there are plants I've never even HEARD of that are very beautiful. That there are lots of great people here. That gnomes really like it when people fight over them.
