Oh my! we are supposed to get some tonight, too, but we haven't even warmed up a bit so nothing is growing or blooming so nothing will be hurt by it. I hope you don't have much out there to worry over.

    p.s. It is beautiful, though.

We had a little light snow come down for a couple of hours, but it melted as soon as it landed. Of course it was 40 F when that was happening!

Do I sound unsympathetic if I say, at least it is pretty? I saw your pot of flowers inundated with snow, so I do commiserate with you!

Donna, when we are sweltering in July, I'm going to come back to this photo and feel cooler. Thank you for posting it, and thank heavens it isn't in Texas!

Snow can look pretty but when you're waiting for spring it's the last thing you want to see isn't it?

That's how I like to see snow, in pictures. It's why we moved to a warmer climate when dr retired.

Oops!! A minor glitch in the weather program software. The latitude bits were inverted and storms have been moving southward. The system has been rebooted and the latitude parameters have been re-checked. The problem may be in a directional algorithm. Several data points contribute to the algorithm and one of them may be at fault. If the storms begin to move northward then the problem has been identified. The next few days will tell if the re-boot was successful.

    Keep your fingers crossed,

    Jerry

It is happening all over. Guess the ski slopes are having great skiing conditions with 5 feet of new snow and more on the way.

It certainly looks very pretty Donna-until you actually have to go out or get around. The older I get the more impatient I become for it to disappear :D

All together now: "I'm dreaming of a white Easter" :D

Jerry,I think more than several data points are faulty this year

I think we are being punished for last years record breaking temperatures. I am sick of winter, but I'd rather have snow in March than 30°C temperatures. Those temps really messed up my plants!
