These super sized zucchini are so ridiculously large that it made me laugh! :smt042 I guess all of the rain that we had contributed to their ginormous size (and perhaps over 40 eyesight not seeing them lounging amongst the leaves).

There are only 2 of us also...I think I could invite my daughter and her family, and maybe even the neighbors to a zucchini feast when I cook that. :p Maybe I could make a half dozen loaves of zucchini bread. Think I will look for a recipe for it here on the Stew.

I think they will make many loaves of zucchini bread. It only takes two cups for two large loaves or 6 small loaves. I made some last week with much smaller ones. dooley

Wow! It sure would be nice if you lived closer to me. I would take those big boys off your hands and in exchange, make both of us some zucchini bread.

    Yum

I have heard that zucchini, okra and yellow squash get tough if you let them get too large.! True or false??

Sometimes the peel gets a bit tough and they have a lot of seeds but they are still good for bread. They are also good scooped out and stuffed and you can eat it out of the shell. dooley
