I took the plastic cover off my green house and the wind reached 50 mph for two days. My plants are too tender for that kind of wind. I installed a soaker hose watering system in the overhead pipes. I rained 2" last night and they tell me "Get used to it". Going to rain for the next week!
I joined a new koi keepers message board nine years ago and started a thread which was made a "sticky." You've heard of "Sod's Law," well this is "Koi's Law," where contributors could post all the mishaps that befell them with the hobby and what they had to do top rectify them where it was possible. So far it's had 117 comments and over 23,000 hits. Maybe we need a "Gardener's Law" thread. for similar hobby related incidents?
We in NE Texas are getting some of the same rain,, just not as much and no wind ! Maybe you need to move south ?
