I was thinking of ways of getting younger people to Church. So I asked young parent if it was ok if there 7 year old could come after church. That Him and I would make them a Christmas gift. They thought it would be cute. And he would love it.Found out can not be with by myself. Insurance will not allow it.Molesting going on.So will see if I can do it during service.

That is sad, but very understandable in today's society. Patting a child on the shoulder (inappropriate touching?), giving a child a hug (molestation?), telling a child in a sharp voice not to touch something hot (bullying?). Fear has just about taken the fun out of being a child's friend, relative, or grandparent.
I hope you can resolve the problem Koszta so that little boy can enjoy making a present for his parents while welcoming new, younger members to your congregation. Your motives are admirable, as are you.

Would it work to have a group christmas project at the church, with several kids learning to do the project?

Lot of members are in late 80's. I'm considered young and will be 65 in Jan. But called Grand Mother to see if she would come and watch. Making bird house Gourd.

its exactly the same here in the u.k. i have to leave my camera at home when i go to the kids school plays, or my liitle girls dance event. instead we have to go online and look at the photos of the activities at school . . . . so i cant take photos of my own kid but she can be plastered all over the net by someone else :-? :-? common sense has left the building :)

That is why Boy Scouts of America policies do not allow for a solo Scout Leader to take Scouts on an outing. At least two adults must be present. This makes good sense for just about anything anyway. Never swim alone, hike alone, etc. Too bad it has come to this, a few bad apples can mess up the whole thing.

Sad indeed. But I like the suggestion of making it a group event.

My BIL was scout leader. He was at Camp. And had storm -some tent got torn down during a storm. He had to sleep with another leader. Said never knew a guy could snore that loud even when he was in Navy.I wish we had a lot of Kids in Koszta-only 2 When we moved here had 20+ I think going to do it during service. Strange parents got married there. And both Children Babtized but don't attend. 2 houses away.
