http://www.cleveland19.com/2019/02/...-winter-waves-great-lakes-during-deep-freeze/ I think he must be crazy to attempt this even with specially designed wet suits but this gives you an idea of what our wild weather was like for the storms last week and the week before. nothing was frozen before the storm came through so the meant the water was still "warm". shoveling snow was the worst time ever this year. there was an inch of slush under the snow and as soon as I shoveled one pass the ground instantly froze and the slush stuck to the shovel blade.
they must be crazy to go out on the water to surf in this. but my oh my, it truly shows how wildly cold our weather was. IF.. and thats a big IF the lake ever freezes over we wouln't have as much snow, but this year doesn't seem like thats going to happen. it has just been too warm too long to freeze over. twice in the last week we have been close or maybe even over 60f.
Carolyn it really looks bad by the picture and we've had no proper snow stick here yet to other parts in the UK and I know Scotland have bad drops where Eileen lives...omg I wouldn't cope
last night it was 60f when we left the rec center. tonight it is supposed to be 12f. the temps have dropped all day here and it is cccooold out there now.
Carolyn it's no good for the human body the way your weather is flying up then dropping low...how you cope god knows
