The cartoonist lives in Dallas so it's no surprise that once in a while his comic strip reflects my thoughts on certain weather situations ;)
The cat and I will be busy this afternoon, trying to lure the slow moving cold front to show up sooner...

Perhaps a way to lure the cold front is attach a low pressure area to a long string and when the cold front approaches pull on the string maybe the cold front will follow. :)

I did try that a couple of times during the summer when a cool front heading this way would be stopped before getting here....but the string kept catching on fire from the heat.
I might give it another try, but the temp is supposed to be in the 100+ range again this afternoon and I would hate to loose more string.

    Or how about this way.....

How about a cooler weather dance...dance like you have never danced before...but make sure you have some water closeby so you don't over-heat or start on fire...I feel so bad for you, I would have to stay inside...we enjoyed a beautiful day yesterday in the 50's and the sun was out. We got so much work done and this morning it was in the 30's.....jacket weather here but we are suppose to be in the 70's a couple times this week.
