What's doing this and what do I use to get rid of them?

The problem with being a city slicker is that if it does not look like what is in aisle 21 of the grocery store then I have to look in Google's garden. I see leaves, I see the top of a brussel sprout stalk but you do not appear to have sprouts. Something ate your sprouts?.......Something likes brussel sprouts? Yuk!! My solution for anything that gets eaten is chicken wire. I will however, defer to the next person who actually raises the things, for some relevant advice. I will watch...listen....Good luck with your sprouts.

    Brussel sprouts come in a box....frozen.... :)

I'm willing to bet that if you look closely, you will find a bunch of little green worms. Hand pick them off and thrown them into some soapy water. Repeat when necessary.

Hi Jerry, You might be right brussel sprouts frozen in a box. But they are still on the plants, it's the leaves that are missing.

Donna, do you have grasshoppers? They eat everything except grass and I have leaves on my corn and squash that look similar to your sprouts.
