    On the way home from our lakefront property I took this picture of some ones house and the surrounding area that caught my eye...most of the color is just about gone in our area now. I am in Wisconsin.

    Those trees are a real bonus when one looks at the landscape there.

    I lived in Illinois. When you drive across Illinois and Iowa you realize how flat they are...That's why when I married the hubby he moved us to the east coast.... LOL

    Nice Sherry. We are in the desert SW right now and this is realllllllllly flat. you can see for miles and miles. no color to speak of either. not bright colors like the trees in the NE US. the leaves are so tiny on the plants, fingertip size and tough as teflon. today I stepped on something here in the hotel room... oyvey, it hurt! some kind of burr/seed. nasty! dry dropped leaves are soft compared to this stuff.
