We've had a lovely few days with high temps, and today I noticed that the snow has been melting fast in our mountains across the fjord:

We've got rain and lower temps forecast for the next week plus, so I guess the remaining snow will be gone before too long. I think I need to photograph this view every June 1st, so I can compare snow conditions from year to year. :D Even though I'm not quite certain what I want to do that for.

I never tire of seeing such wonderful scenery. Do keep taking shots of those snow capped mountains as they certainly lift the spirits. :stew1:

Those are beautiful. I would spend a whole lot of time just sitting and looking at them and never get anything else done.
I guess eventually they would become everyday....maybe in 50-60 years. ;)

Love looking at your environment, Droopy and I would like to see the changes from year to year. Changes can be so subtle that we don't even realize they're taking place. Very interesting.

Goodness, Droopy -- is that what you can see from where you live? That's absolutely stunning. I would get nothing done for looking at the view. It is so lovely it almost makes me cry! Thanks for that treat.

That's the view from our windows, and I'm very used to it from living across them for most of my life. :D They're not the most spectacular mountains around here, but I like them a lot.

Well, that's easy, Gardengirl. Lots of British here in Norway already, and we've got plenty of room for more of you. :D

If only Droopy, I think we are a bit long in the tooth now to make such a big move :)
