Bought lots of plants at the end of season. Some died before I got them in the ground, so I put the plants next to the garage to be composted last fall. Well forgot about them and low and behold when I went looking for clay pots I found that some of the plants had come back. This was the only one with out a name tag.

    Not a salvia
    Leaves are round on that.

    Maybe butterfly plant?

Looks like salvia to me too. There are multiple types of white salvia...not sure what yours is.

Could be Salvia nemorosa 'Snow Hill'

It's the only one I have found with the flower stalks like yours.
